The Iranian Journal of Agricultural Economics (IJAE)

Call for paper submission

The Iranian Journal of Agricultural Economics (IJAE) is a refereed academic journal which is published by the Iranian Association of Agricultural Economics (IAES) and publishes four issues of articles in Persian each year. The IJAE aims to promote the study of all disciplines relevant to agricultural economics. The editorial board of the journal has decided to publish an English issue annually as well and is pleased to invite submissions for its inaugural English issue, scheduled for publication in 2010.

The IJAE publishes original academic papers in all areas of Agricultural Economics focusing on, but not limited to, topics on developing countries. In submitting to the Journal, the authors agree that their manuscript is original research not submitted for publication elsewhere, and it is not a translated version of a Persian article.

Submissions for publication at the IJAE will be anonymously peer reviewed through which, the journal strives to ensure that only sound scientific or professional contributions are published.

Submissions should include a short abstract (100 words) and be written in double space throughout with Times New Roman font, not exceeding 15 pages including the main text, tables and figures. The authors are asked to submit a cover letter that includes the authors name, title, professional affiliation, mailing address, e-mail address, and telephone number. No author-identifying information should appear in the body of the paper or its references. Finally, if any part of the submission has been presented at a conference, it should be indicated in the cover letter. If the submission comes from the authors’ thesis or dissertation, the scholars who provided assistance and review for that process should be acknowledged.
